The Natural History Museum Trip For Year 4
How Hill Residential Visit – Class 3S
Children in Year 3 have just returned from a three-day residential visit to How Hill, the environmental study centre for the Broads. During their visit children took part in several activities including nature trails, dyke dipping for aquatic invertebrates, bird-watching, clay model making, weaving, thatching, orienteering and environmental art. They learned lots about different habitats and enjoyed a boat trip along the River Ant to Barton Broad. They also had a chance to visit Toad Hole Cottage, a marshman’s cottage from Victorian times. Geography Giraffe accompanied us on our visit!
