Home & School
It is very important to emphasise that we cannot run a successful school without the full support of parents. We acknowledge that it is very important for us all to work together to achieve our aims of being fully inclusive and accessible and ultimately to provide a quality learning experience for our children. To support this we provide many opportunities for you to come into school during the course of the year to share in school activities.
There are three times in the year when we offer you the specific opportunity to discuss your child’s progress with the teacher. On one of these occasions you will have the opportunity to discuss the written record of your child’s achievement through the year, which you will have received beforehand.
If a problem arises with your child’s education or well being, please contact the school straight away, to make an appointment with the class teacher.
Helping in School
We are always appreciative of any help you feel you can give and warmly invite you to become actively involved in your child’s education. At present parents help in school by listening to reading, helping with cooking, needlework, computers, craft and a variety of other activities. Any parents who would like to help should contact Mr Clare or their child’s class teacher. Parents helping on a regular basis will be required to have a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
